Platform Support Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity to join the IT Services Department as a Platform Support Analyst working hybrid, with typically one or two days in the office each week.

About the Role

• In this role you will provide support for some of the Universities critical business applications. You will use your skills in diagnosing and solving technical problems to ensure that our stakeholders can do their vital work.
• You will be collaborating closely with other technical teams to head-off issues before they happen and keep our systems healthy. Keeping abreast of a fast-changing Cloud first systems and Agile delivery will mean our users will benefit from improvements early and often. It will be up to you to deliver an excellent experience for our customers. This role has a dedicated training budget attached to it.

About You

• You will be technically minded, with demonstrable experience in troubleshooting and working with others to tease out issues in software or IT systems.
• An enthusiasm for working with software products is a must and any hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, SQL Server or Azure will be a great asset.
• A talent for communicating with others and helping them gather information and organise will mean you will be able to drive through positive change.
