The Opportunity

We have a new opportunity available within the Collections and Technology Portfolio for a Platforms and Repositories Coordinator to provide a range of specialist professional services to support and manage the Library’s digital platforms and repositories.
This role is a key liaison point between the portfolio, university and internal and external client groups, to ensure Monash digital platforms and repositories provide findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) infrastructure to support research and scholarly communication.

The Platforms and Repository Coordinator assists the Library Systems Lead by providing support to the Library’s program of activities and provides specialist advice that contributes to the advancement of the Library’s objectives. The position also provides support to projects and events and undertakes a variety of general duties to meet the operational demands of Collections and Technology Portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a degree or working towards a qualification in a relevant field (e.g., librarianship or information management) along with experience in coordinating the delivery of high quality and sustainable digital platforms that includes strong customer service excellence. This individual will also have highly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience in relationship management and consulting skills.
