Our client Scottish Power are currently recruiting for a PMO Analyst to join their team based in Glasgow on a contract basis initially. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced PMO Analyst who has experience of starting a PMO. For more information on this role see below:Job Purpose StatementThe PMO Analyst role will form part of the Cyber Programme office and be responsible for supporting the maintenance of key controls and reporting associated to the SPEN Cyber change agenda.
The role will support the NIS Programme Office Manager to oversee the adherence and effective management of defined change governance controls across multiple programmes delivering the Cyber change agenda, as well as collating progress and financial reporting for senior stakeholders.
The role will build strong relationships across the programme team, as well as with wider business stakeholder, ensuring alignment to key delivery requirements.Accountability Statements

Dimensions
Support the NIS Programme Managers with timely creation and maintenance of a programme delivery artefacts suite, ensuring all artefacts are aligned to wider corporate guidance requirements.
Ensure programmes are in adherence to Cyber Transformation department good practice requirements.
Support the Cyber Transformation department with timely creation of programme level reporting on a monthly, and ADHOC, basis for senior SPEN stakeholders.
Support the Cyber Transformation department with management, monitoring, and reporting of the SPEN Cyber budget, valued at ca. £178m over 3 years, TOTEX for SPT, SPM and SPD licences, ensuring effective prioritisation, benefit realisation and risk avoidance to the Business.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Experience of working in a PMO environment.
Experience of working in a regulatory controlled environment.
Proven experience of project reporting & control, and budgetary controls.
Proven experience in tracking and reporting project management deliverables.
Experience in use of artefacts utilised to support programme / project delivery.
Experience in liaising with multiple parties including programme/project managers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
Capable of producing accurate, relevant work to tight deadlines.
Ability to push back and challenge project managers to maintain reporting assurance levels, and accurate financial analysis.
Planning & organising
Supporting the delivery of the ongoing SPEN cyber security transformation programme.
Organises workload over a 12-month planning horizon, including objective setting and performance management.
The ability to be flexible and react quickly to conflicting demands is essential.
Ability to adapt and deal with change and effectively manage expectations of stakeholders.
The ability to coordinate programme reporting information from different teams to take effective decisions and timely escalation of risks to senior management.
