About the Podiatrist role

Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic Podiatrist who will provide high quality, client-centred Podiatry services for individuals in our community.

Reporting to the Podiatry Coordinator, we have flexibility regarding the employment type as detailed below:

  • Permanent part time (0.4 FTE)
  • Part time fixed term (up to 0.8 FTE) from 27th June 2024 to 4th October 2024 
    • (employment period dependant on EFT) 

Your Passion and Commitment will see you:

  • Actively involve clients in decision making to enhance their health and wellbeing.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team approach, including completing care plans with client centred goals.
  • Provide individual site-based services, working within a community setting.
  • Receive individual structured supervision framework supported by experienced clinicians.
  • Access discipline specific professional development activities and events.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Podiatry
  • AHPRA Registration as a Podiatrist and eligibility for membership with the Australian Podiatry Association.
  • Experience working with vulnerable clients and those from diverse backgrounds.
  • Understanding of referral pathways and the principles of working within a multidisciplinary team approach.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise reports.
