This reimbursable Joint Duty Assignment (JDA) opportunity is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans (PLCY), Office of Trade & Economic Security (TES).
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Policy Analyst in the areas of national and economic security, including foreign investment risk management, critical infrastructure protection, and economic security and supply chain resilience policy development. This is a hybrid position: telework up to 60 percent of the time is possible subject to mission need, but you will need to be located in the National Capital Region as you will be required to come to the DHS St. Elizabeth’s campus as needed to participate in meetings and review classified material.
As a developmental opportunity, the detailee may work on a range of functions within TES. This includes foreign investment risk analysis and mitigation in support of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), supply chain risk management for telecommunications critical infrastructure in support of the Committee for Foreign Participation in the U.S. Telecommunications Services Sector (Team Telecom), and national and economic security policy development in support of various Interagency Policy Committees and the DHS Supply Chain Resilience Center (SCRC).
