The Division of Politics, Administration, and Justice at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Political Science Part-Time Lecturer Pool.

We are seeking intelligent, highly motivated, and well-organized part-time lecturers to teach in our curriculum. We are particularly interested in faculty to teach in face to face classes.

An area of particular need is experience teaching or qualifications to teach upper-division and graduate courses in comparative politics or international law.

This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.

APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.

Qualifications

Candidates should be enrolled in a Ph.D. program in political science or public administration, or have an M.A with substantial graduate work. Candidates should have prior teaching experience at the university level. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.
