Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	The position has a minimum requirement of a PhD in a related field (e.g., environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry).
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Candidates should have experience in designing lab experiments, developing research objectives and testable hypotheses, conducting data analysis using appropriate tools, and writing scientific papers in English. Experience with the preparation and analysis of samples for microplastics is desired but not required.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
