Ability Matters, LLC in conjunction with The Ohio State University, Dept of Educational Studies seeks a Post-Doctoral Scholar in Special Education to oversee the Agency’s BCaBAs, RBTs and master’s students enrolled in ABA programs at The Ohio State University and other institutions.  Instruct 1:1 and in group settings developmentally disabled individuals. Conduct skills assessments of said individuals and create behavior intervention plans; collect, graph and analyze data.
Candidates must navigate competing responsibilities of supervising employees, providing direct educational services and supports and collecting/analyzing data for research purposes.
A completed Ph.D. in Special Education is required.  Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience: 
Ph.d in Special Education field required. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.

Desired Experience: 
At least 2 years teaching experience, primarily working with developmentally disabled individuals; 3+ years’ experience with data collection and analysis. 2+ years’ experience supervising BCaBAs and RBTs. 

50%
Educational support and direct services – Conduct 1:1 instruction or group instruction (DTT format, Mix and Varied, RIT, NET).  Conduct skills assessments (VB-MAPP).  Create behavior intervention plans.
25%
Supervision – Supervise BCaBAs and RBTs, masters/undergraduate students in ABA programs. Provide implementer training (RBT training, parent training and consultation and typical sibling training).
25%
Administrative and documentation – Data collection, graphing and analysis. Writing progress reports for parents, guardians, and staff.  Attend IEP meetings.

The Target Hiring Range for this position is $50,000-$55,000
