Help us spread the Gospel through the postal system!

Do you wish you were doing more to evangelise people, but don’t know where to start? Are you less comfortable striking up face-to-face faith conversations with strangers? Do you only have a little extra time to give? And do you want to target the most unreached peoples as systematically as possible?

If so, you should join the Deliverers, an association of ordinary Christians who spread the Gospel by:

• Handwriting short letters and cards with a simple message of love
• Including brief, effective tracts explaining the basics of the Gospel message and signposting to further resources for those interested
• Delivering them to randomly selected addresses in the parts of the UK with the greatest needs, and smallest Christian presence

This simple method of evangelisation can work alongside other methods to increase Christ’s visibility and make God’s saving love known to people and communities who haven’t encountered him yet. Our in-house statistical expertise helps us to target our outreach to the areas most in need.

Deliverers don’t get paid to do their vital work, although expenses can be provided for materials for those otherwise unable to afford them. We are driven by love of God and neighbour, and a deep desire to reach out to the increasing number of people in our midst with no Christian friends or acquaintances, who could otherwise live and die without ever hearing that Jesus loves them.

You can send as many or as few letters as you can manage, above a token minimum of twelve per year. Our main surge of activity comes in the autumn, when we prepare for our annual Christmas mailing campaign, sending evangelistic Christmas cards to the least-reached households in the country.

You don’t need any special qualifications or experience to join – just to be a committed Christian of at least 16 who assents to the Nicene Creed and the reliability of the Bible, and wants to do more to reach out to people with the light of the Gospel.
