UAB Postdoc- Department of Genetics, Dr. Lizhong Wang’s Lab

 

 

 

The positions of Postdoc are available in Dr. Lizhong Wang’s laboratory within the Department of Genetics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

 

 

 

Job Qualifications:

 

Highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. degree in genetics, epigenetics, immunology, or cancer biology, as well as the working experience, are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

 

 

The successful candidate will pursue ongoing projects to identify the mechanism of tumor progression and metastasis, as well as to develop cancer targeted therapy. These projects will focus on tumor microenvironment and metastasis and targeted therapy in animal models and investigate the underlying mechanisms of interaction between tumor and host during tumor progression and metastasis. The applicants will also be involved in other ongoing projects in the field of cancer genetics, epigenetics, and immunology. The candidate must be able to work in a group/team environment while also be able to work independently.

 

 

 

Salary:

 

Salary is commensurate with the NIH and UAB guidelines for postdoctoral researchers.
