We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Postdoc for a 2.5-year position, commencing on March 1, 2024.
About the position
Join our team in drug development with a focus on Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs). This is a full-time position that involves both in vitro and in vivo work, including work with cancer mouse models.

Our Research
Our international and highly translational project, characterized by a strong emphasis on teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration, is focused on understanding tissue remodelling in normal and pathological conditions, with a particular emphasis on Extracellular Matrix (ECM) homeostasis in cancer and fibrosis. We actively engage with an international network of collaborators to foster innovative research. Our approach is inclusive, embracing diversity in group composition in terms of gender, internationalization, and age.
We aim to identify and utilize actionable receptors that are upregulated in cancer and the cancer-associated stroma, with a specific focus on Tumour-Associated Macrophages (TAMs) and Cancer-Associated Fibroblasts (CAFs).
Your job
As a postdoc in this position, you will work closely with a team of technicians, postdocs, Ph.D. students, and master’s students. Your primary responsibility will be to run ADC trials in several cancer indications.

Place of Employment
The place of employment is at the BRIC/Finsen Laboratory, University of Copenhagen. We offer creative and stimulating working conditions in a dynamic and international research environment. Our research facilities include modern laboratories and a range of equipment, including confocal microscopes, an animal facility, and a fully equipped histology/IHC lab.
Terms of Employment
The average weekly working hours are 37 per week.
The position is a fixed-term position limited to a period of 2.5 years. The starting date is March 1, 2024, or after agreement. Salary, pension, and other conditions of employment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant organizations. Currently, the monthly salary starts at 35,000 DKK/approximately 4,700 EUR (October 2021 level). Depending on qualifications, a supplement may be negotiated. The employer will pay an additional 17.1% to your pension fund.
International and Danish applicants may be eligible for tax reductions if they hold a PhD degree and have not been tax liable to Denmark for the last 10 years.
The position is covered by the Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities 2020.
