Our laboratory has obtained two R01s to study mechanisms of treatment resistance mediated through the mitochondria. The candidate will be the primary scientist to evaluate mitochondria pathways associated with treatment resistance. This project will focus on the epigenetic and mitochondrial mechanisms that prevent response to immunotherapy or chemotherapy. The project will require in vivo assessment in mouse models including already developed patient-derived xenografts (PDEs).
