The Department of Politics at Princeton University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position. The individual, who will work with Professor John Kastellec, will be asked to participate in projects that examine American political institutions. The postdoc will work on a variety of projects, which may include research on judicial and legislative behavior, as well as broader questions surrounding the study of law and courts. The successful candidate will have a PhD and a strong background in quantitative research, and knowledge of research on political institutions. Strong data skills, including programming in statistical packages, and experience compiling and manipulating large data sets are highly desirable. The candidate should also be well organized, flexible, attend to detail, and respond to deadlines in a timely fashion.
