Postdoctoral Research Associate Grade 7

This is an exciting opportunity to join a research group working at the frontiers of vascular ageing. This full-time PDRA funded by the Leverhulme Trust will uncover new biology by investigating a role for RNA sensing in endothelial cell senescence. We will expand the scope of current thinking surrounding cellular senescence, beyond the classic DNA sensing into RNA sensing. To achieve this, you will bring research technical skills relevant to cellular senescence and/or RNA biology, and demonstrate knowledge and awareness of recent advances in the field. You will be joining the research team of Professor Reinhold Medina at the Department of Eye and Vision Science in the Institute of Life Course and Medical Sciences. The post is available for 3 years.
