Postdoctoral Research Scientist

tendersglobal.net

The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at the Columbia University Medical Center would like to recruit a Computational Postdoctoral Research Scientist to work in the lab of Dr. Andrew Teich.  Our lab focuses on Alzheimer’s disease, but through collaborations we also have projects that address other neurodegenerative diseases of aging.  The PI is Director of the New York Brain Bank, and has multiple lines of investigation with unique, well characterized clinical cohorts that are generating high-dimensional omic data.  This position is ideal for a motivated recent PhD graduate from a computational biology program who is interested in working with data from one of these studies to produce a high-impact publication in the Alzheimer’s disease space.
