Job Description:

Syracuse University seeks a full-time statistician to support research projects and collaborate with investigators affiliated with a growing network of interdisciplinary institutes and centers in the areas of public health promotion, population health and aging, public policy, social and behavioral health, and veteran/military well-being.
The statistician will provide statistical design expertise and conduct analyses of data derived from a variety of sources, including but not limited to epidemiologic observational and survey studies, randomized controlled trials, longitudinal studies, data from administrative sources, and mixed-methods studies. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with biostatistics, causal models, mixed and/or multilevel models, survival analyses, and spatial analysis.
This position will support collaborative research for investigators, trainees, and other staff affiliated with Syracuse University Centers and Institutes (e.g., the Center for Social and Behavioral Health Science, the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families, the Center for Policy Research, the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion and Population Health, the Aging Studies Institute, and the Center for Aging and Policy Studies).
