Postdoctoral Scholars in Immune Cancer Metabolism
We are seeking three motivated postdoctoral fellows with background in computational biology, chemical biology, biochemistry, immunology, cancer biology or cardiovascular research to join our immunometabolism centered Laboratory at Department of Urology, Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. The El-Kenawi laboratory at The Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center blends state of the art metabolomics with molecular techniques and animal models to understand metabolic mechanisms of immune suppression in prostate cancer. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of immune cell metabolic pathways and their implications in prostate cancer progression and therapeutic resistance. The selected candidate for their interest in cardiovascular research will investigate the role of immune cell metabolism in mediating cardiovascular complications of prostate cancer treatment.
These positions offer an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians and contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of prostate cancer and metabolism. In addition to advancing diversity, we are also committed to support career development and future academic independence of successful candidates.
