Power BI consultant

The Power BI consultant will be responsible for developing and deploying business intelligence reports, dashboards, and visualizations. This role requires deep knowledge of Power BI and associated technologies to transform raw data into meaningful insights for decision-making.

Establish an online visual dashboard to map all the school in Iraq (Iraq federal and KRI) with full information on status of each school e.g. (infatuation, training, number of children. etc)

Skills

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI: Expertise in creating complex dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Data Modeling: Ability to design and build efficient data models.
• DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Strong understanding of DAX for data manipulation and custom measure creation.
• Data Integration: Experience connecting Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, cloud services, APIs, etc.).
• ETL Processes: Knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load processes, and tools like Power Query.
• Database Management: Familiarity with relational databases and SQL for querying and data extraction.
• Other BI Tools: Knowledge of other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView is beneficial.
• Scripting: Basic understanding of Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Problem-solving: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve complex business problems.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Ability to work in teams and liaise with various departments.
• Project Management: Capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
