ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Join a dedicated team of Practice Specialists in this newly created opportunity, where you will drive excellence in the practice of Childrens Contact Services by providing resources, reviewing current processes, providing specialist advice, training and consultation to our Coordinators, Practice Leads and relevant stakeholders within our organisation. You will be a subject matter expert supporting Interrelate’s Children’s Contact Services to reflect on current best practice, by being innovative in order to facilitate optimal client outcomes.

The role is permanent full time with an expected commencement date of 1st July 2024.

Key Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain currency of all service guides, policies, strategies and processes pertaining to Children’s Contact Services.
  • Work with other Practice specialists to;
    • Ensure Interrelate’s Clinical Governance Framework reflects current best practice that will meet the needs of clients and other stakeholders
    • Develop Clinical Governance Audit tools and processes as part of a quality improvement process that seeks to ensure high quality service delivery and outcomes
    • Support regular Clinical Governance Audits
  • Support the Learning Development team to conduct learning needs assessments for contact workers and coordinators.
  • Support CCS Coordinators and Practice Leads by providing information and resources to assist them in managing their CCS teams and CCS service delivery.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to CCS staff and relevant managers.
  • Identify any service gaps and liaise with relevant stakeholders to co-design new innovative programs/services and products to meet these gaps
  • Undertake clinical Policy and Procedural review and development.
  • Represent Interrelate in professional forums and broader academic communities through conference presentations, workshops, journal articles and media.
  • Develop and foster relationships with key relevant State and Federal Government representatives, NGOs, academic institutions and other organisations, including corporate or social enterprises that have a similar strategic intent and interests.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor degree or above in a relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience in supervision, coaching or mentoring
  • Extensive experience and recency in delivering services in Contact Centre Services settings
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Experience in implementing organisational change and training staff in new practice models
  • Sound understanding of CCS and where it fits within the human services sector, including government policy and current research.
  • Good working knowledge of human centered design principles and their application in the human services field.
