About the Position

We are looking to welcome a Practice Supervisor to provide consultation, assessments, advice and input that will provide better outcomes for children and families.

This position is classified Level 6 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $102,555 – $107,080 plus super. We offer excellent salary packaging options which can significantly increase your take home pay.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead the professional practice of your team.
  • Manage a restricted caseload which involves delivering our family case-management program to families, caregivers, kids, and young people.
  • Be an active consultant in your area of expertise and attend and participate in case consultations and reviews.
  • Work with and refer to other professionals and stakeholders utilising an ecological model.

About You

  • A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services).
  • Professional registration (if required) and membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
  • At least five (5) years’ experience providing case-management and therapeutic services to families, caregivers, young people and children in a child protection framework.
  • Relevant experience leading and supervising team members in similar practice related positions.
  • Ability to support teams that are located rurally and geographically dispersed.
  • Highly developed communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.

Other Requirements

  • Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
