Elrha is opening a two-stage procurement process for an Event Management Company to support us to deliver two large events. We are inviting potential service providers to submit a pre-qualification questionnaire to express interest in the work. Selected providers will then be invited to submit a full proposal. The deadline for the submission of pre-qualification questionnaires is 18:00 GMT on Friday 10 May 2024.
OVERVIEW
Elrha is a global organisation that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation.
We are seeking an experienced Event Management Company to provide comprehensive logistical and operational support for two large events, scheduled to take place in Nairobi (Kenya) in November 2024 and Spring 2025.
The Event Management Company will be responsible for delivering a range of services aimed at ensuring the smooth execution of these forums, which seek to engage regional and global actors in the humanitarian innovation and research sectors. The objectives of this work are:
- To manage and execute the logistical and operational aspects of Elrha’ s Innovation and Research Forums, supporting also on the design of logistics aspects of the sessions.
- To facilitate a conducive environment for knowledge exchange, networking, and showcasing innovation and research.
- To ensure that all event aspects are accessible to diverse audiences, including the provision of translation services.
TIMELINE
The intended start date is July 2024 and the period of implementation of the contract will be approximately 12 months until June 2025.
SELECTION PROCESS
The application deadline to submit a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is 18:00 GMT on Friday 10 May 2024. Applicants must submit:
- Pre-Qualification Questionnaire application form
- Declaration
- Supporting documents (see section 5.2 of the Service Description)
We will not be able to consider incomplete applications or applications submitted after the deadline. Please submit completed proposals and supporting documents to Dan Amias, Senior Innovation Learning Adviser: d.amias@elrha.org and copy to contracts@elrha.org.
Note shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit an Invitation to Tender. Shortlisted applicants will be informed by Monday 20 May 2024 and the deadline to submit a completed Invitation to Tender application is expected to be 7 June 2024.
