Pre-Sidedress Nitrate Testing Technician

The Pre-Sidedress Nitrate Testing (PSNT) Technician will perform a range of technical and administrative duties pertaining to the implementation of the PSNT Program. Responsibilities include regular contact with farmers requiring judgement and tact. Supervision will be provided by Shenandoah Valley Soil and Water Conservation District staff.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and proficient computer skills. The ideal applicant will also have knowledge and experience in agriculture. See the PSNT Technician Position Description for more details. Employment is conditional upon successful completion of a background check. No benefits are provided. Seasonal employment will begin on or around May 20 and likely run through August 2, 4-9 hours per day, 2-5 days per week.
