Houston Parks Board (HPB) works to connect all Houstonians through public greenspaces. The organization has radically transformed Houston’s greenspaces by devoting energy to creating access to parks for all, and by bringing an extraordinary vision – a network of parks and trails that bring Houston’s bayous and its people together – to life. Since 1976, the organization has utilized public-private partnerships and its extensive philanthropic, governmental, and community relationships to provide equitable access to quality parks and greenspace to the Greater Houston region.

The impact of the work undertaken by the President/CEO will be profound. It will bring people together to form connections while beautifying and improving the safety of their neighborhoods. It will create a welcoming environment that drives business and attracts and retains top talent.
