RAP seeks a proven, accomplished leader, with a deep passion for the mission and in service style leadership. Technology is rapidly changing the options available to energy decision-makers, and the next President and CEO will stay abreast of these new opportunities.
This role requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. An advanced degree or equivalent qualification based on education and professional experience is preferred. This person is a respected peer by policymakers and current leaders of energy organizations. The ideal candidate will have a record of innovative leadership within an energy enterprise, nonprofit, philanthropic or public sector organization. The leader understands government and NGO involvement in energy efficiency and renewable energy policy, energy policy networks, and power sector decision-making and has experience or knowledge of working in more than one country.
