We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Analyst to join the Finance Team at our Head Office in Lutterworth.As Pricing Analyst you will be responsible to provide timely and efficient pricing analysis to the UK Senior Pricing Manager.   • Production of daily, weekly and monthly pricing KPI’s – to include a full analysis of discount, machine item analysis, transport analysis, price lists and scenarios to deliver insights and support the Senior Pricing Manager in decision making.
  • Provide analysis and insight to assist with the monthly review and recommendation of system rates.
  • Aid in analysing and uploading regional target rate variations.
  • Conduct initial reviews of fixed rate submissions and escalate any that fall below the required levels for sign off.
  • Support the Senior Pricing Manager with Fixed rate deal analysis and assist with pulling together internal sign off packs when required.
  • Run the monthly customer rebate statements and work with finance to maintain & update the rebate tracker & accrual file and escalate any rebate payments for sign off.
  • Maintenance of all fixed rate pricing & ownership of the monthly fixed rate pricing reporting suites.
  • Ownership of the Pricing Team mailbox and day to day rate queries from the sales teams.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Degree educated – ideally Mathematics, Statistics or similar
  • 2 years commercial experience (desirable)
  • Outstanding planning, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Strong reporting, analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability of influencing and challenging stakeholders.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines & manage own time in a busy, commercial environment
  • High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office to specifically include, Excel, Access & Powerpoint.
  • Ability to articulate complex data and information
  • Commercial acumen – market awareness with the ability to understand strategy
