Full-time permanent stipendiary role

These vibrant, welcoming and inclusive rural parishes lie in the beautiful Peak District National Park. Offering strong support from the PCCs, congregations and retired clergy, the church members are looking for an enthusiastic, pastorally hearted, missional priest to work with them to:

• Deepen relationships with God through introducing a variety of worship styles and forming new worshipping communities.
• Oversee our community engagement activity and teach us how to reach out and share our faith with participants.
• Challenge rural injustice and build on the existing ministry to the farming community.
• Make new disciples through developing tourism ministry supporting visitors in becoming pilgrims.
• Lead the church in growing younger through developing our work with children, young people, schools and households.
• Equip the church members for mission and plan together how to maximise opportunities for church growth.
• Create an efficient and sustainable model of governance.
• To lead on income generation, generous stewardship and financial resilience.
