The Primary Care Center at the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio has an opening for a board-certified or board-eligible Sports Medicine Physician to join our practice. We are seeking a qualified individual with a strong commitment to patient-centered and innovative team-based sports medicine.  Clinically, applicants should be prepared to manage a wide range of complex problems presenting in sports medicine, primary care, including chronic care and prevention. Resident mentoring and medical student teaching opportunities are available, but not required. This position will hold a faculty appointment of Assistant Professor or higher as appropriate for applicant’s experience and career trajectory.

Requirements: 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sports Medicine
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• BLS Certification
• Recently graduated Residents are encouraged to apply
• Current, unrestricted Texas medical license
