Principal Investigator Positions at the Institute for Immunology, CIMR, Beijing

The Institute for Immunology of Chinese Institutes for Medical Research (CIMR) invites applications for PI positions at all ranks. Candidates with demonstrated records or potential for excellence and creativity in basic and translational Immunology are welcome to apply. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, T cell biology, B cell biology, innate Immunity, cancer immunology and immunotherapy, immune tolerance and autoimmunity, infection and immunity, neuroimmunology, and mucosal immunology.

 

Successful candidates will enjoy a highly interactive and collaborative environment in a newly established biomedical research center, CIMR, located at the main campus of the Capital Medical University (CCMU), Beijing, China. CIMR is committed to building a scientist-centered governance framework and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. Members of the Institute for Immunology will have excellent opportunities to collaborate with other members at the CIMR as well as physician scientists in CCMU-affiliated hospitals.

 

Position Qualifications

 

1. Assistant Investigators: Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree, successful postdoctoral training experience in Immunology, and demonstrated potential to establish a vibrant independent research program.

 

2. Associate Investigators: Applicants should have experience of establishing and running an independent lab and recognition as a rising star in the broad field of Immunology.

 

3. Investigators: Senior applicants are expected to have a well-established track record of research accomplishments and world leadership in relevant areas of Immunology.
