With approximately 2,200 employees globally, Inizio Medical creates compelling content and engages communities to achieve outcomes that matter.We’re looking for a Principal Medical Writer to help lead one of our outstanding publications teams in rare dermatological conditions. This role would suit an experienced publications professional looking to help lead a team and develop trusted relationships with clients. Reviewing experience and delivery of landscape analyses and publication plans essential. You will help ensure the quality of our work and maximise relationships with key clients in partnership with client services lead. It will provide a great career development opportunity for you.As a Principal Medical Writer, you will develop scientific expertise in assigned therapeutic areas (dermatology), supporting delivery for a dedicated team. Core deliverable tasks include researching, developing, and reviewing publications and associated materials, ensuring that all outputs follow written brief, are accurate in content and editorial style and tell a coherent story. You will also communicate with clients and key opinion leaders on content development and potentially attend key strategic planning meetings.To succeed you will have:

• Previous experience working in a Medical Writing role (within publications), within a medical communications agency environment.
• An academic background in the life sciences.
• Experience writing and reviewing across a broad range of scientific deliverables e.g. publications, training materials, slide sets, interactive content, conference booths, competitive intelligence, for a variety of medical audiences.
• Experience as key client contact and team leader.
• Line management experience

You will also be central to identifying new business opportunities and contributing to proposals and pitches.
