Private Client Associate – Join a Leading Scottish Law Firm!Are you an experienced Private Client Associate looking for a new opportunity? We have an exciting opening at a prestigious Scottish law firm, ideally based in Perth however Glasgow or Edinburgh based candidates are also invited to apply.This team handles a diverse range of private client matters, providing comprehensive advice on various aspects of private client law and related tax issues. Joining this specialist team will allow you to broaden your knowledge and gain valuable experience across a wide range of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of private client service areas, with a particular emphasis on:

• Wills
• Executry administration, including complex tax paying estates
• Tax planning, with a focus on IHT and reliefs such as APR & BPR
• Trust creation and management, including technical Trust law and asset protection
• Advising private clients on complex issues, including contentious executries and trust matters
• Powers of Attorney and Guardianships

Candidates must not only be passionate about their work but also actively contribute to the development of this successful and forward-thinking team. While you will have the autonomy to handle your own caseload, you should also be comfortable collaborating with other team members on larger or more complex transactions. Meeting agreed targets, you will play a crucial role in the financial success of both the team and the firm. Experience in business development and marketing strategies will be highly valued.Applicants should possess at least 4 years’ PQE although there is flexibility.
