Job Description

What your new role will entail;

As a Process Engineer you will be expected to assist Senior Engineers with the production of Process Deliverables for project work. The role will focus on:

  • Process equipment design
  • Generation of PFD’s, P&ID’s & Mass / Energy balances,
  • Writing of technical and tender specifications,
  • Process troubleshooting,
  • Safety review participation – incl scribing for HAZOP/HAZID/SWIFT
  • Preparation of Process Safety documents, eg Hazardous Area Classification, LoPA
  • A working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, processes and procedures

Being part of the team;

  • The AECOM Water UK&I Process team is a small, but growing team of diverse, friendly and supportive technical experts, adept at WWTP, WTW, and sludge treatment Troubleshooting, Optioneering and design.
  • We work across the UK Water Industry for the major municipal Water companies.
  • We also undertake selected projects for our industrial sector clients, and also supporting government organisations such as the Coal Authority, and the Environment Agency
  • We undertake work outside of EU, with opportunities to work on Middle East Projects such as Allullah, and NEOM
  • Joining our team will offer you the opportunity to work outside of your immediate UK Water Company patch on projects spanning the UK. This will give you the opportunity to widen your horizions, develop your technical, project and line-management skills to be a future technical leader within our Water business.

Qualifications

Here’s what we will need from you;

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry/Biological Science
  • Can demonstrate learning and development on course to achieve chartered status
