Role: Procurement BuyerOffice Location: North East LincolnshireHybrid Working: 2-3 days pw in office, 2-3 days WFHSalary: £38-45k + 10% bonusExcellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding global company that focuses strongly on on it’s culture, employee development and sustainability. The procurement teams are expanding as a result, creating significant progression opportunities over the coming years locally, and further afield in London or overseas if desired.It’s a fantastic role that spans procurement and operational purchasing (P2P) across categories such as general indirect industrial goods and services, CAPEX, raw materials (directs) and logistics. You’ll undertake the operational (transactional) purchasing activities (tendering, invoice query resolution, PO creation, master data – in conjunction with the process teams and systems) and follow-up on purchases with sites and suppliers to manage quality, time and cost issues.It’s a fun and collaborative team, with significant progression opportunities. The Head of Procurement is open to candidates that can be either skilled procurement professionals, or more junior candidates looking to progress in their career. The company has a flat structure which provides autonomy and exposure to the global senior leadership team and broader stakeholders, and the benefits that come with this. They offer considerable training and coaching. The two to three days per week in the office provides an enjoyable culture and the opportunity to develop and learn from colleagues and peers.Key competencies:

• Procurement/purchasing experience, ideally with some experience in industrial indirect goods and services, raw materials, directs, CAPEX, logistics etc
• Transactional purchasing, finance, accounts payable (AP) experience etc
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills
• Experience of presenting, ideally to senior stakeholders
• Experience of using data to forecast budgets
