The Global Green Growth Institute internship program (also called “Grow Green” Program) provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGI’s operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. We encourage qualified women and men, in particular, nationals of developing countries, with diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply. 

We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the Procurement Unit to provide operational support to the unit under the overall guidance of the Head of Procurement, specifically in relation to carrying out day to day procurement activities based on ERP and Procurement software (eGPP).

The assignment will include the followings but not limited to:

  • Monitoring, and follow-up on procurement actions taken in ERP system as well as e-GPP (Procurement Software); follow up on the progress of procurement requests undergoing evaluation
  • Prepare official procurement data, records and information material in soft copy files;
  • Store procurement date into the database;
  • Take an active role in monitoring timely correspondence from regional offices and bidders received at Procurement Unit email account as well as at e-GPP;
  • Support procurement trainings to the requesting offices to be carried out through on-line; and
  • Organize her/his work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow-up on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Support to finalize and follow up 2025 Corporate Procurement Plan

ELIGIBILITY                                     

  • Applicants to the GGGI internship program must at the time of application meet the following requirements:
  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s (final year), Master’s or PhD program prior to internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months.
  • Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field directly related to the Institute’s work.
  • Possess an excellent command of English.
  • Possess a command in common software (such as MS Office)

Qualification : 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law or any related subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work proactively in finding areas for improvement and making suggestions;
  • A positive approach with passion and constructive attitude
  • A team player, giving priority to the goal of the team
