Description and requirementsSkanska, one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society.We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our infrastructure highways team for our Regional Delivery Framework in the East, delivering major projects on behalf of National Highways, including A428 and East Anglia schemes.You’ll:

• Implementation of project procurement strategy.
• Management of full tender process to achieve best value procurement solution.
• Undertaking procurement activity in accordance with both “Skanska operational procurement – The way of working” and our contractual requirements.
• Utilisation of qualitative procurement methods.
• Support and maintain collaborative relationships with strategic suppliers and contractors.

We’re looking for:

• Management of project stakeholders to maintain and seek to improve upon procurement and construction programmes.
• To support the implementation of ERP on the scheme.
• Utilisation of digital procurement tools
• Experience of procurement and supply chain management
• Product knowledge of materials and plant and subcontracts
• Construction / Site based experience
• Working knowledge of Main Contract T&Cs including NEC
• Confidence to negotiate competitively and effectively.
• Competent in the use of 0365 software
• Awareness of digital procurement tools
• MCIPS or working toward
