Position Overview
A fantastic opportunity for a well-rounded senior procurement professional to further develop their career in an environment of continuous improvement. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead a team of Procurement and Contracts specialists.
This role can be based on our Palmerston North or Wellington Campus with a preference being Palmerston North location.
As our Procurement Manager you will lead the provision ofprocurement advice, services, and support to ensure the University takes a best practice, strategic souring approach to its end-to-end procurement and management of contracts. You will be responsible for serving as a change agent in building a culture of progressive procurement, process efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement and digitalization activities.
