Introduction :
UNDP CYP RFQ 00071 2023 – Procurement of Electric Vehicles
For UNDP to achieve its ambitious Moonshot Target of reducing its operational carbon footprint by 25% by 2025 and 50% by 2030, the top three Greenhouse Gas emission sources – air travel, facility energy use and vehicle fuel use – need to be reduced by around 55% each. To reduce GHG emissions from vehicle fuel use, several measures are available and are pursued in parallel. Furthermore, the UNDP vehicle policy has been updated to require that all newly purchased representational vehicles are electric.
In this context, the UNDP Cyprus Project Management Office (PMO) with support of the UNDP Information and Technology (ITM) unit is launching a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to procure: Two (2) Electric Vehicles (EV).
Interested suppliers must submit their offer directly in the system as instructed in the solicitation document, following the instructions in the available user guide.
