Supply and install furniture for Technical School in the MOI, Tripoli, Libya
1. PROJECT BACKGROUND
a. Project description
Strengthening the Rule of Law in Libya is contributing to peace, stability, and an inclusive social contract for Libya. The project design is based on extensive learning, research, and consultations with a wide array of stakeholders in Libya. With targeted, country-wide activities, UNDP will contribute to increasing access to justice for all living in Libya. The project will i) continue to enhance the capacities of institutions to deliver justice services, ii) partner with local government actors to strengthen justice and fight impunity at the community/municipal level, and iii) support CSOs and universities in service delivery. The project is aligned to UNDP’s new country programme and has an estimated budget of USD 20 million. Investing into long-term partnerships and robust monitoring and evaluation will ensure sustainable results, prioritization of those most in need, and value for money.
b. Beneficiaries
All the staff of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and Attorney General AG.
2. Location
The building is located in Khalit Elforjan main road: (32°47’46.2″N 13°13’29.2″E Tripoli)
3. Works brief
The project includes supply and installation of furniture for Technical School, General Administration for training in the ministry of interior Tripoli, Libya. For more details, refer to BOQ; the work shall include but not be limited to the following:
· class A office desk size (L180xW80xH77cm)
· class A office desk size (L130xW80xH77cm)
· Swivel Chairs size (L65xW70xH96-106cm)
· Raised access floor finished with carpet.
· LED ceiling lighting
· 16 Amp double socket
· 16 Amp single socket
· Pop Up floor socket it contains double socket.
· LV Cable.
· split air conditioners.
· Supplying and fixing in position Zebra Roller blinds.
4. DURATION OF THE PROJECT
The estimated duration of the project is 45 calendar days from date of receipt of handover Certificate from UNDP Engineer.
