The Cirium Sky Warehouse offers access to historical and forward-looking aviation data and analytics in either an AWS hosted redshift instance or via Snowflake computing. As our customers become more and more data savvy our machine-to-machine surfaces are key to our growth, in this instance our Cirium Sky warehouse is front and centre. Whether it’s discovering new hosting methods or how to integrate with the latest visualisation tools, this role will be key to keeping our Cirium Sky warehouse at the leading edge of warehouse offerings.About our Team: You will part of a team contributing heavily to the strategy, vision, and roadmap with a focus on delivering aviation analytics for our customers.About the Role: You will be responsible for the value generated by the machine-readable warehouse surfaces through which aviation analytics is delivered.Your key responsibilities will be product discovery, setting the direction for delivery squads. Ensuring timely execution while ensuring that you are always presenting the voice of the customer internally.On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with Technical & Architecture teams. Ensuring commercial viability of technically feasible solutions. Working with squad Product Owners to ensure value from delivery. Working with UX, Sales, and Customer Support team to ensure consistent customer experience across all surfaces. You must also provide a deep knowledge of how our customers engage with our products to others.We are looking for a driven, innovative Senior Product Manager who is passionate about solving problems, both for our business and customers. If you want to be at the data heart of a world-leading aviation analytics business, then this is the role for you.ResponsibilitiesDriving innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and critical action.Leading, defining, representing, and communicating product strategy and selected capabilities under development to all stakeholders. Monitor product development sprints, launches, landings, and evaluate resultsDefining pricing and market positioning for each product module. Define analytics and measure the performance of the product. This includes all metrics associated with brand loyalty, usage trends, churn rates, satisfaction, and conversion.Collaborating with & inspire product owners, engineers, designers, executives, sales personnel, and marketers.Working with the VP of product, Cirium Sky, to develop & implement product lifecycle management. From concept to launch to the full landing of the capabilities of the productMonitoring and work closely with Product Marketing Management. Assessing product mix and marketing strategy and to manage strategic marketing plansRequirementsExperience in product or product-adjacent roles. Posses strong working knowledge of product management methodologies and best practices. This includes understanding the discovery phases, developing pricing strategies, creating marketing plans, and utilising product analytics to gauge feature usage and areas for improvementDemonstrate a proven track record in collaborating with cross functional teams * Have a sound understanding of the Aviation industry is required, with good round knowledge of ATM, UTM, airlines, airports, aviation financial services and aftermarket / OEM aerospace specific industries ideal.
- Prior experience of aviation data is required with understanding of machine-to-machine data delivery as an ideal. Working understanding of data warehouse technologies would again be ideal.
- Have a background of agile software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
