RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITES:

  • Strategic & Tactical management of products through various stages of lifecycle for UK & Ireland Market.
  • Launch & execute on new products and input into broader CAH portfolio.
  • Marketing Communications including, Exhibitions, Stand designing, Digital Strategy (Showpad) and appropriate assets to support local team.
  • Develop annual marketing plans according to business strategies, objectives and BP; ensuring appropriate Clinical Education strategies in place working Clinical Education Manager.
  • Assess the market opportunities –“Go or No Go”.
  • Provide direction and co-ordinate efforts between all internal functions, including but not limited to Sales, EMEA & Global Marketing, Finance, Supply chain and Regulatory affairs.
  • Develop, review, approve, implement and monitor productivity of all promotional programs, in line with A&P budget.
  • Actively act as an information resource to the sales force (VOC).
  • Co-ordinate and communicate relevant information of products, competition, trends, market and strategies.
  • Make sure that the sales force has adequate product and procedure knowledge.
  • Support Bid & Tender Value Proposition and submissions with relevant Technical information.
  • Support via Field Visits and other means, the sales force to drive BP.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have education to degree level.
  • Experience launching a new medical product or drug and/or developing new markets or healthcare.
  • Desirable: Post graduate Marketing Qualification. Experience, skills and competencies (REQUIRED)
  • Leadership competencies.
  • Medical device industry experience, or pharma.
  • Demonstrated a cycle of success in their current role and has taken on projects/initiatives to assist with their own personal development.
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Business planning analysis – strategic planning, etc.
  • Highly motivated, “can do” attitude with strong influence management skills.
  • Structured, practical approach
  • Demonstrated marketplace foresight and business acumen to position organization to compete for the future.
  • Proven track record to work independently, while achieving aggressive personal and geographic objectives.
  • Good team player.
  • Experience of working with multifunctional teams without the direct authority to issue instructions, able to engage with people, and achieve goals on time and within budget.
  • Willingness/ability to indirectly lead multifunctional teams and to look after several projects at the same time, with systematic setting of priorities and organization of resources.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate (written or verbal) at all levels in an organization and with diverse groups.
  • Experience in handling uncertainty and complexity.
  • Talent for problem-solving through analytical ability to draw evidence-based conclusions about the impact of market dynamics, customers and competitors on programs.
  • Proven track record of good judgment.
  • Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers and subordinates.
  • Familiar with business policies in a multinational environment.
  • Able to travel throughout the UK & Ireland up to 20% of the time.
