My client is a leading manufacturer of vessels and pipework to the aviation industry with over 20 years of continuous growth culminating in over 16000 global customers and an annual turnover north of 10 million pounds. They are looking to bring onboard a Production Assistant to bolster their team in Morecambe. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience will have experience of an industrial painting environment and will have a familiarity of Health and Safety standardsYou will need to be based within a commutable distance of Morecambe for this role.Production Assistant Job Overview

• Preparing, cleaning and masking off prior to paint application
• Occasional Shot Blasting
• Cleaning and maintaining all PPE
• Maintaining daily Health and Safety standards

Production Assistant Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing would be beneficial
• Awareness of the application of Health and Safety to a workshop environment
• IPAF and FLT experience would be advantageous
• Open to flexible work patterns and overtime
• Full driver’s licence
• Based within a commutable distance of Morecambe

Production Assistant Salary & Benefits

• £12.50 per hour
• Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (42.5 hour’s week)
• Overtime available
• 28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
• Life insurance
• Pension
