Are you looking for dedicated training development and progression within a well established company within the aviation sector?On offer is an excellent opportunity for a Fitter to join a multibillion turnover company, to have dedicated training & development and career options with an industry leading.Within this role you will oversee a specialist team within a machining workshop. Duties will include day to day operational management, plan and schedule workload, implement and maintain standard operational practices and procedures, train, motivate and performance manage the team membersThis role would suit an individual within a commutable distance to Ramsgate from either a production planner, team leader/supervisor/quality role within a production, workshop and or machining environment.The Role:

• Oversee a team of 10-15 engineers, managing daily operations, planning and scheduling workload, maintain the function of plant and equipment to include machine maintenance (preventative and scheduled), maintain and monitor stock levels of machine shop consumables, train & motivate team members.
• Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30, 3:30 finish on Friday

The Person:

• Team leader/supervisor experience within a production workshop environment
• IT Literate
• Looking to join a well established company within the aerospace industry
