Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The successful applicant will have excellent Audio & Video skills including the ability to shoot/edit for multiple distribution platforms, utilize and maintain equipment, and general set-up and troubleshoot of studio and EFP systems; lighting skills; and knowledge of rigging/grip techniques and practices with emphasis on safety. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to work night and weekends based on production schedules.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in public media as defined by the Corporation of Public Broadcasting
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software
• A true team player who’s extremely dependable, bringing passion and a desire to continue to learn new techniques
• Excellent communication skills; can represent ideas & concepts effectively
• Experience problem-solving
• Experience being part of a creative team and collaborating on projects
