About the Role:

White Ribbon Australia (WRA) is seeking a proactive leader with expertise in promoting healthy masculinity and primary prevention initiatives to drive the development and delivery of impactful programs nationwide. As the WRA Products and Programs Lead, you’ll spearhead innovative initiatives aimed at challenging harmful gender norms, fostering respectful relationships, and promoting positive masculinity.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and communities across Australia by championing initiatives that address critical social issues and promote healthy masculinity.

This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis working 76 hours a fortnight.

Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Psychology, Commerce, or equivalent work-based experience.
  • Significant experience in promoting healthy masculinity in primary prevention initiatives within the community services or not-for-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs aimed at challenging harmful gender norms and promoting positive masculinity.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders to advance healthy masculinity initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency to engage effectively with diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous communities and people with disabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage virtual teams across multiple sites within community services or not-for-profit environments.
  • Strong project management skills, risk management understanding, and ability to provide supportive leadership to build engaged and high-performing teams.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving organisational goals.
  • Satisfactory Police Clearance (not older than 6 months from the issue date)
  • Unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Current working with children card.
