Position description
Provide program analysis support to a Service Headquarters cross-functional team. Coordinate and collaborate with DoD Pacific Posture Enterprise (PPE) stakeholders across four lines of effort, including force posture, associated military housing, quality of life construction, training programs and facilities, and associated financial resources and management. Advise and prepare senior leadership for decisions and key leader engagements related to the posture of forces and Service realignment initiatives in the Indo-Pacific with a particular focus on the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI). Develop detailed knowledge of associated CNMI physical and geo-political factors, agreements, and local relationships. Attend PPE stakeholder planning activities, working groups and forums as required. Keep various DoD and other U.S. government stakeholders aligned on related CNMI or Indo-Pacific Service posture plans and implementation.
Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience working within the Department of Defense

5+ years of experience supporting strategic partnerships, international engagements, international agreements, training, or security cooperation initiatives

5+ years of experience developing, supporting, and operating live, virtual and constructive military weapons training systems and programs

Ability to conduct research and analysis

Secret clearance
-
Bachelor’s degree in International Relations or Political Science
Additional Qualifications:
-
Experience working within a Combatant Command or Service Headquarters

Experience briefing U.S. military General Officers or senior executive-level officials

Knowledge of military command structure, missions, roles, and organizational structures

Knowledge of traditional infantry unit training and weapons systems

Knowledge of the CNMI

Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Master’s degree
