The Opportunity
The program analyst will join a small team working across the foundation’s issue areas, focusing initially on early literacy as well as professional development for teachers. This position reports to the executive director and supports two senior program managers. The program analyst will conduct research to build the foundation’s knowledge base and provide analytical and administrative support across our grant due diligence process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research as needed to build the foundation’s knowledge base
- Perform due diligence on potential grantees
- Support grantees by effectively processing, administering, and monitoring grants
- Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and other documents to support program managers
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in a relevant field. Experience in K-12 education preferred.
- Strong interest in the foundation’s mission and focus areas
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High intellectual curiosity; desire to explore new ideas
This position is based in the foundation’s New York City office.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $100K-$115K, and there is an opportunity for a performance-based bonus. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits.
