FJS supports efforts that advance long-term, structural change and meet immediate needs that enable women, girls, and LGBTQI people most affected by injustice to be leaders, strategists, and agents of change.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Assistant plays a key role in the effective operations of the program team. The Program Assistant provides administrative, scheduling, and project management support to the Head of Communications for Philanthropic Advocacy; the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning; the Head of Regional Programs; and, the VP of Programs and Strategy. Reporting to the VP of Programs and Strategy, the Program Assistant also plays an essential role in providing project and change management support to the Program Team in collaboration with other staff teams.
The ideal candidate has administrative and project management experience and a working knowledge of and commitment to women’s rights and LGBTQI movements globally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Executive Administrative Coordination (50%)
Team Coordination (30%)
Executive Grantmaking Support + Coordination (20%)
COMPENSATION AND CULTURE
Salary range: $66,271 – $75,000
(This range is subject to increase in 2025 with additional cost of living guidance).
