Program Assistant, Connecting Capital and Community

Center for Community Investment

tendersglobal.net

Organization: The Center for Community
Investment (CCI), a sponsored project at Rockefeller Philanthropy
Advisors, works to ensure that all communities, especially those
that have suffered from structural racism and policies that have
left them economically and socially isolated, can unlock the
capital they need to thrive. CCI has a well-established framework
(capital absorption) and approach (racial equity and adaptive
leadership) that community investment partnerships can use to
mobilize investment capital in order to: create opportunities for
affordable housing, jobs, climate resilience, and other drivers of
well-being; advance racial equity; and make their communities more
cohesive and environmentally sustainable. CCI’s ultimate goal is to
transform the community investment system so that all communities
have equitable access to capital and people with low incomes and
people of color can shape the futures they want for themselves.

Connecting Capital and Community (3C) Initiative:
3C is designed to introduce the capital absorption framework to
multi-sector teams in five major cities and help teams apply it in
order to enhance and scale their affordable housing efforts,
further develop their community investment ecosystems, and,
ultimately, enable low-income, Black and Latinx residents to
thrive. In each city, a diverse team of stakeholders from multiple
organizations will work together to achieve an ambitious result
that goes beyond individual projects to system changes aimed at
improving the structure of opportunity in their community.

Position:
CCI is seeking a creative self-starter with a strong learning
orientation to join our team. The right candidate will combine an
interest in the big picture with the ability to pay close attention
to details. We strongly encourage candidates with an interest and
commitment to advancing racial equity and justice within community
development, housing finance, and climate to apply. The Program
Assistant will support the execution and impact of the 3C

coordination and administrative support.
