The Strategy & Insights team guides quality, insights-driven prioritization and learning across PSI, ensuring we are “doing the right things” even as we work on “doing things right.” The team promotes best practice in program design, social and behavior change (SBC), market dynamics, research, learning, and strategy development, measurement and alignment. We work with PSI network members, partners and other global services teams to systematically capture, synthesize and share internal and external evidence, consumer/market/health system insights, competitive market intelligence and program experience to guide global, market-level and program-level strategy.The team is made up of a diverse, fun, kind, and highly skilled group of professionals, and would offer the successful candidate exposure to a wide range of PSI’s work.

Strategy and Insights seeks a Program Assistant to provide wide-ranging administrative and operational support to the team. This position would also support the Health Systems Accelerator team with similar administrative tasks. The role is a critical part of ensuring operational excellence and quality execution of standards.

Hourly Pay Range:
$21.15 (MINIMUM) – $25.00 (MID-POINT) – $28.85 (MAXIMUM)

Actual hourly compensation may vary and will be determined by factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, external market analysis, and other business factors permitted by law. Responsibilities

Your contributions

  • Provides routine administrative support for daily operations, project management, institutional software subscriptions and licenses, managing logistics for team meetings and webinars, and general functioning of assigned portfolio. Serves as liaison to the broader program management function. 40% of Time
  • Provides basic financial management support, including assisting with basic team budget management, procurement and payment of consultants, vendors, subrecipients and other services, and management and reconciliation of purchasing card. 30% of Time
  • Provides support for knowledge management activities, including the design of tools and systems for knowledge management and information tracking, creation and maintenance of internal filing systems, maintenance of online communications site(s), development of meeting summaries and notes, and development of communications materials. 30% of Time

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Associate’s degree (or international equivalent) in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field preferred.
  • Some work experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with special attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Relevant language skills per country and program portfolio.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
