Summary of Job Duties:

Program Associates operate in an independent, decision-making role in the planning & execution of programs. Work objectives are coordinated with Project Leaders and/or other supervisors, but project implementation & management are primarily the responsibilities of the Program Associate. Program Associates are expected to contribute effectively to conceptual framework, program design, result dissemination, educational activities, & the pursuit of extramural financial support.
Job Duties:
Develop tools and framework to support the state volunteer program.
Provide learning and training opportunities for county agents and volunteers. This includes helping to define and refine policies and guidelines to support a successful volunteer system.
This position also has responsibilities for marketing and social media.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree, is required in the following areas: elementary education, K-12 education, Leadership, Child Development, Health, or Family & Consumer Science or a related degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Master degree in one of the above disciplines with formal or informal teaching experience. Ability to evaluate and write curricula.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data management, social media, & email programs. A high level of technical competence in the area of responsibility. Ability to develop & deliver quality presentations and public speaking engagements. Ability to exercise initiative, make sound judgments, & work without close supervision. Ability to relate & respond to the needs of supervisors, subordinates, & clientele.
