The role
For the delivery of a new project, ISD is seeking to engage a full-time staff member to facilitate project activities, engage with local partners, beneficiaries, and government bodies, and closely coordinating with the Program Manager and Project Finance Coordinator for technical and operational support.
Key responsibilities include:
Technical Support (50%):
- Monitor day-to-day project implementation, ensuring alignment with the workplan and timeline.
- Collaborate with team members and local partners to plan and execute project activities effectively.
- Provide technical guidance to partners, facilitate training sessions, and contribute to data collection for monitoring and evaluation activities.
Program Administration (50%):
- Offer logistical and operational support for project activities on a regular basis.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for project implementation, ensuring smooth coordination.
- Coordinate procurement activities in line with ISD and donor policies, and fulfill additional administrative duties as directed by the Program Manager.

The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of hate speech and social cohesion programming in Jordan, including familiarity with the legal framework and relevant institutions. They should demonstrate a track record in implementing projects addressing media and online hate speech, as well as proficiency in research and data analysis. Furthermore, experience in community-based initiatives, collaboration with local partners and government entities, and the ability to work effectively in diverse team settings across various locations are highly desirable attributes.
